I love my Silver Wing. I was receiently looking at a Gold Wing. I would still would like to have a Gold Wing, but for now the cost is too much to handle. I probably would ride my Silver Wing five out of six times if I kept my Silver Wing and the Gold Wing. But I may not know what I am talking about due to the fact that I have never rode a Gold Wing. My Silver Wing is a very good vehicle. I just don´t feel correct calling it a scooter. I think it belongs in another class. I put a Givi luggage box on it and it almost looks like a smaller verson of a Gold Wing. It cruses and indicated 70 MPH with ease. It is turning 5400 RPMs at that speed. That bothers me somewhat because of possible wear on the motor. It is very smooth at 70 MPH and doesn´t seem to mind that RPM at all. It is probably not excessive because it red lines at 8400 RPM. I got it passed 100 mph with ease and had to look at my speedometer to see if I was doing 80 MPH. I generally cruse 70 MPH taking her to work almost everyday. I think ,with my Givi luggage box and the underseat storage it almost has as much storage as a Gold Wing. I also put the brake lights in the luggage box. The Give luggage box is almost as neat as the Silver Wing itself. I use it everytime I ride.
