The bike is ´heavy´ at low speeds, and anyone who has one will tell you that. It´s not made for the parking lot. It´s made for cruising, and it excels at that I think; it is extremely well balanced once you get it up to road speeds (and it doesn´t have to be highway speeds either). It does not feel heavy at all at road speeds, and rides very nice. My only complaints would be:
1. A few rattles around the headlight area, but then you can expect that from a 1800cc 2 cylinder bike I think; tightening all screws around that area on a regular basis seemed to help though.
2. There´s not a lot of ground clearance, so you´re going to ´scrape´ the pegs once in a while.
3. It is heavy at low speed, but that´s the trade-off for a great cruiser.
4. I compared it to other bikes, particularly Harley´s, by talking to people who had them. I decided on a Honda for 2 reasons; I´m a honda guy for many years, and I got my 2003 new in August this year for $8100 on that special deal Honda was running.

For what I paid, nothing could touch it. But I´m sure the Kawasaki or Yamaha equivalents would be nice also.
