I will try to not bore you with too many details. My Superhawk with 16,000 miles gave out on me recently. The bike has not been ridden very hard (honestly) and is in excellent condition. I was putting along waiting to make a pass on a dump truck when all of a sudden the engine started making the most God awful mechanical slapping noise. I shut it down but started it briefly to hear it again. The engine turned over much easier than normal (loss of compression) and will not idle. I know I´m in for a tear down and probably alot of parts, I suspect by the nature of the noise something went amiss in one of the cylinder heads. Has anyone else out there had similar problems? This is not the Honda quality I was expecting.
