JFKIV, not an uncommon problem, if you view the UK VFR website you will see a whole topic on this under the technical section. Would seem there are everal threads of thought. The throttle position sensor voltage could be wrong, starter valves need balancing (?). But most of the discussion seems to lean towards installing K&N air filter, Oxygen sensor eliminators, and the extreme reccomedations suggest a Power commander and exhaust changes - but check outy the website - some of the guys on there know their beans - a whole feast of info! Hope this helps (p.s just bought a 2003Vtec myself picking up in two weeks.....and plan some of the above mods myself). johnski
