Ducati as a real sport tourer??

Ducati as a real sport tourer??

I was looking at the new ST4 in the dealership. The salesmans says the chain will last 30,000 miles is I lube and clean it every 500 miles. That mean on some trips i would have to clean the chain twice a day. Is the true? How many miles do you folks really see on the dive chains?
