On my first trip of any length with this bike I found the stock seat to be most uncomfortable, even after serveral hours of riding. It never really bothered me when just cruising around town. I´m tall (6´6") which seems to result in me sitting towards the back of the saddle, pushing me into the metal seat rail. I know they make pads for this and I have the short one on order, but I´m not sure that will solve my problem as it may push me farther forward. I wound up taking the grab rail off after the second day, but that didn´t solve the problem, still very uncomfortable. By comparison I found the seat on a ´02 Road King to be quite comfortable.
So...has anyone had experiance with alternate seats? Does anybody know of a seat that puts the rider higher and farther back? Any related experiance or comments?
