Considering purchase of 2003 Heritage Anniversary Classic

This 2003 Heritage Softail Classic Anniversary Edition has 24000 miles but looks extremely clean and polished. It is for sale at the Sunrise, FL Harley Davidson dealer for $8500. No luggage or saddle bags. Would this be a good price?

Is this a good style bike for short trips (200 to 300 miles) and local riding?

Any problems with this bike I should know about?
