Buccini, you can take the windshield/fairing off the T-Sport but it will be butt-ugly. The triple trees & headlamp mounting set-up are specific to the T-Sport. If you remove the fairing, all of the wiring for the headlamp & instruments will be visible. It is not pretty. The headlamp mounts from the bottom , unlike on the FXD & FXDX which mount from the top and have a visor. There are lugs that stick out from the triple trees for the fairing to bolt to. These are part of the tree casting. Not too unsightly, though. To do it right, you will need the triple trees/ headlamp & headlamp visor from a regular FXD or FXDX. If you just got the bike, ride it a while and you will get used to the way it is ( I did). If the wind buffeting is to bad, get the optional taller shield.
