I AM A VETERAN MOTORCYCLE RIDER AND I OWN A 2002 FXDX WITH 30K MILES ON HER. I USE THIS MACHINE TO COMUTE TO WORK WITH A TOTAL MILEAGE OF 110/DAY. THE UNIT HAS BEEN RELIABLE OVER THE PAST THREE YEARS I HAVE BEEN RIDING HER. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER AND I HAVE STAGE ONE ON THIS UNIT WITH VANCE AND HINES STRAIGHT SHOT EXHAUST SYSTEM. THE BIKE RUNS WELL AND GETS EXCEPTIONAL GAS MILEAGE 40/PLUS/GALLON. I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE INFO WITH CURRENT OWNERS OF FXDX UNITS, SPECIALLY WITH MAINTAINCE ISSSUE, UP GRADES, ACCESSORIES, PERFORMANCE UP DATES AND ALSO ROAD TRIPS AND SUCH MATTERS. I HAVE BEEN VERY FORTUNATE THAT THIS MACHINE HAS BEEN VERY DEPENDABLE. I DO HAVE SOME QUERY ABOUT THE FOLLOWING MATTERS BATTERY LIFE, FORK OIL MAINTAINCE, TWIN CAM TENSIONER GEAR, AND LASTLY MAINTAINCE TO STEERING HEAD AND SWING ARM . U ALL HAVE A NICE DAY. FROM ST.
