Hey, I´m a seasoned rider who recently sold his 1982 Old Wing to its original owner because of serious wiring issues and just picked up a 03 Blast for something to ride. (I´m an MSF RiderCoach and Rider´s Edge Riding Instructor). I bought the Blast because it´s got power for the city, gas mileage for the pocketbook and because it won´t take cash away from the kids college fund. OK, now that that´s said, I highly recommend you take your Blast on the road in the city and the streets where you live at 6 a.m. on Saturday and Sundays. That allows you time to get used to stop/go/lights and area curves where you will live and ride most of the time. The 6 a.m. hour keeps you out of the heavy traffic and gives you a chance to practice on your own at your own comfort level. |
