I bought a yellow Blast because I am paranoid and want to be seen by approaching motorists. I also wear a yellow coat and red helmet. I´m happy with my 03 blast because I love the simplicity of a single cylinder with hydraulic valves that never need adjusting, and a single carburetor. Since I bought mine in October I have only 480 miles on it. It seems to run better the more I break it in. I haven´t had it over 65 yet, but I suspect it will go faster. I have replaced about 300 centiliters of oil. I got the Harley Davidson 20-50 oil. After a couple thousand miles I will probably switch to a synthetic oil.
