It can´t outrun a vmax but it will out handle one. It is not very fast. It does cruise a 75 to 80 mph easily. Great gas mileage. It handles very good. I have a 2003 and I love it. The only concern is the oil useage. You have to check the oil everyfill up. That is exspected out of a single. Once it has been broken in it´s oil consumtion is lots better.
