The main problem I have found in obtaining rear tyres for the SL230 is that the swing arm is too short for some tyres to fit. The original SL230 tyres are 80mm high so this does not give you much choice if you are looking for a substitute. I have found that the Pirelli MT21 dual sport 18-120/80 is the only option. It may be tubeless as well. If anyone knows of how to fit a trials type rear tyre with a block tread I would be interested to know how they did it.
