As far as I can tell,some of the CRF230 and SL230 engine parts will interchange and therfore so will the tuning parts.
For example the base gasket,inlet and exhaust valve,main bearings and piston share the same part numbers.
Quite a few American tuning companies are producing big bore kits, camshafts etc for the CRF.
Be aware that any piston over 67mm will require machining work on the crank cases.The companies I have contacted are not really interested in selling their parts to be used on a bike they have never heard of.
The best piston kit seems to be the one sold by ´Engines Only´(xr100.com).It is 69mm dia and requires a new liner and crank case machining.I would use a standard CRF230 camshaft with this piston.If possible get rid of the CV carb at the same time.

If you require more info on tuning this series of engines let me know,and I will contact you directly.
Beware! All this stuff is not cheap,and quite often it would be cheaper to buy a bike with a higher spec in the first place!
