The longest trip I have made on my VTR was 640k´s. This is probably a bit further than ideal but 400k´s is sweet, and I´m better off on my VTR than some of my mates on CBR´s and GSXR´s AND quicker around the windy stuff! (But then my poor VTR gets a bit of a hard time ;) ) But I have ridden over 20,000k´s in less than 12 months....change the oil every 5000k´s, only run Unleaded 91 (unless I am feeling rich, although I don´t notice any performance improvement switching to 95 or 98).
And as for the claim of 125mph...like most others I have only managed about 160kph.
