Hi Geoff, I already replied to your post twice but I still can´t see it appearing on the board, so I´m trying it again - hope this one goes through.
The CL was mainly for the Japanese home market & no matter where I searched, there are NO English Manuals for the bike. My friend who used it for a while & did some research on it said it is comparable to the older CB´s.
I do have a K & N air filter on it, from a Honda Super Four, all I had to do was saw off the screw on the one end. I also have Metzeler Enduro 3´s on it, Front 100/90-19 & Rear 140/80-18, you read correctly, the rear rim can accomodate a 140, i didn´t even need to modify the chain guard & there was no problem with the swingarm.
This coming week, I´ll be installing a new/usd set of rear shocks, BOGE, that came off from an older BMW, hope this improves the ride, will let you know.
Also I´m thinking of upgading the front suspension, will let you know how that works out.
