I have recently got a 1992 model which has had a new instrument cluster fitted by the previous owner.
The old speed was in MPG (British)?
The new speedo is KPH.
Why does the speedo register 80kph when doing 50kph - 112 kph when doing 70kph and around 142kph when doing 90kph.
It IS a kph speedo!
I have not changed the cable or the speedo gear in the wheel hub.
