| Lads, Please, Lets get one thing straight... The retardation of the ignition system, in the lower gears, is limited to FUEL INJECTED models only... Come on Klark, you once swung spanners... As I´ve said before... Treat these engines as G, H, or J GSX-R´s because that´s what they are... Why bother ****ing around with std ignition parts, when the "proper" stuff, and, for those of you who have trouble digesting things, first, second and even third time round, involve´s the simple use of std GSX-R 1100 G,H or J parts... Mine with the addition of a "Factory" (brand name, not gen part´s) Stg 3 jet kit and some careful tinkering on the dyno has picked up a genuine 10 hp (at the rear wheel) over stock... In actual fact it´s probably closer to 12, but, dyno´s being dyno´s vary vastly from one to tother, For verifacation purposes, Kerry, you are most welcome to come take mine for a howl before it´s sold, yes, thats mine in the T&E this week... and report back to the rest of the board... Then and only then wil I let you all in on the SS tuning secrets.... My advice to you all is don´t bother spending money on fancy add on´s just open up and tune what you´ve got...
