I would highly recomend this bike as a worthy successor too a ZX10 as a replacement "grunter" - they are down on top end grunt but application of pipes and carbs would go a long way too giving up more. Have seen a 1200ss with a yoshi pipe fitted try ken macintosh at henderson - pipe and extension were off the shelf from a bandit fitting - very minor alteraton too the extenson was req´d - the dude was trying out re jetting when I last saw him.

Have had the unfortunate luck of throwing the bike down the road - wet road too fast shitty, shiny seal. Luckily the bike has only gone down on one side, and eaten through the starter clucth case. Not having a manual and a long way from any reliable mechanix´s has anybody got any ideas on getting the starter clucth off the end of the crank ??? I thought the clutch was bolted through onto the crank but the road rash appeaers too have worn the entire bolt head off !!!! email me for any ideas or post here
