Klarkster, I´m, through yakkin, trying to nut this one out. My personal thoughts are to "biff" everything "non-descript" and use "family-orientated" domestically sourced replacement bits... After all we are looking at a G/H/J long stroke GSX-R mtr.... My development path has followed the "Tried & Trued" big cams, big carbs, which, lets face it has equaled: BIG HORSEPOWER.... as a rule... given the "latent" nature of Suzuki engine´s So, if you want to **** about with the electrical side of things I´m quite happy to source cylinder head and cam "grinds" etc etc The ultimate SS should happily and reliably crank 127 @ the rear, on any day...
