Sorry you didn´t make it to Puke.

Yes, I had a great day and can´t wait for the next. My first time on a race track and what a blast!! So much so that I´ve decided I´m going to have a crack at Post Classic racing. I´ve got a broken down RD400 in the shed and am going to get it going, and put some chambers and clip ons on it and HAVE SOME FUN (I don´t care if I´m last).

The GS went really well, I was delighted with it. Had the speed limiter taken off it beforehand ($40 at Colemans) but have no real idea what sort of speeds I was getting on the back straight cos the speedo still only reads 180 but I was hitting 180 in 3rd and I was in 5th and still strongly accelerating when I hit the 200metre mark at the hairpin. Too busy saying my prayers and hanging on for grim death to tell what RPM I was pulling in 5th!! I´ve put some serious wear on my tyres so I´ll be looking at a set of those Rennesports soon.
