But its a brand new bike!

Just kidding, agree with you about the end float just listen to any old GS750/1000.

I put a screwdriver tip on the valve and the handle up to my ear test and YEP she is the origin of the noise. Mainly at an idle when the vacumm is strong. The steel reeds inside seems to be flapping back and forth against the seats when you feather the throttle. I am wondering whether it is fuel to air ratio tuning sensitive. A slight lean spot may cause an indifference in the vacumm making the valve clatter under certain rev/load conditions? Hmmm or should I just bif the thing over the fence?

I thought about changing the hose routing to pump out some of the crankcase air and dump it out the exhaust. This race mod is supposed to be effective with long stroke motors and the crank ventilation system of the new Gixxer1000K3 and I quote "Reduced pumping loss giving a 2 bhp increase in peak horsepower". Should be easy to do if I can find the correct diam hosing to give me the extra lenght needed... immmmm
