Hi Scottie It was the engine noise that worried the Colemans guy. He wasn´t sure what it was but said it wasn´t the flat-slides rattling and was something internal that sounded expensive. That´s all he said, and that was enough for me. (Also had a stuffed rear shock). It wasn´t particularly original. However I´ve since bought another one! A 1988 registration (model is "H" which is I think 1987 build). Very clean and original in the blue and white. It´s at Colemans as we speak, getting a going over. Just hoping they don´t find anything too worrying but it seems like a good bike this time (done 53k but 1 owner for the first 40k). Paid $2800 for it so if its a good one I´ll be pretty happy. Not sure what I´ll do if they find anything major wrong with it. I´ll cross that bridge if it happens. Cheers Kerry |
