| Hi Eric and welcome Yes, well $11k is a bargain by any measure for a new 1200cc bike. Shall spare you my standard tirade about Suzuki NZ redevaluing every present owner´s bike ..... I´m a realfan of these machines, from several standpoints. Value for money is remarkable. Scottie (Wheeliemonsta)has got some pretty ambitious plans for hotting his up with cams and flat slide carbies etc, while I´m reasonably happy with mine, given my style of riding and the bikes I grew up with. A few more HP would be nice and I think the gearing is too tall in 5th but it´s fast enough to get me into trouble as it is!!! But these things handle and brake well, and let´s face it, the bikes back in the 70s and 80s generally didn´t.But most of all I think they´re beautiful to look at....all in the eye of the beholder of course, but very retro cum industrial cum minimalist or something. They look "staunch" as the Suzuki salesman so neatly expressed it. Hate the pipe but the Yoshimura pipe on Scottie´s bike is very very nice as well as gaining 10hp or so so that´s probably on the priority list of things to change without breaking the bank.
