| Hi everyone, You can purchase Polycarbonate spary paint from any model shop. Then spray the inside of the screen after having cleaned it with Turps. Of course you will need to mask it too. The screen is a bit of a batard to get back as the rubber gromits are a tight fit. Nevertheless if you are patient and do a good job on painting the screen from the inside it will come out really well. I have owned 7 sports bikes and done it with evreyone and they all looked very good including my GS. One thing to note though is that the GS screen has a lip on the top and you will have to paint the outside of this lip to get a profesional finish. Also I dont lie down on my tank so it does not bother me but if you do use paint to darken your screen it will be a solid colour and not transparent but it will have a nice dark glossy outer finish, email me if you have any queries on this. |
