Hey...
If your interested in finding some horsepower, I can recommend Bret Roberts Mechanical in Otahuhu, Auckland.
I did mine by the old tried and trued "Cams, Carbs, and Ignition" must yeild big gains routine...
After having spent some time yakking with Bret, who did the final "set-up" on the dyno, he said he would have ultimately liked to have had the bike "stock" and developed it from there... i.e airbox mods whilst still retaining 32 mm carbs etc and then fitting the "L" camshafts etc etc....
What I´ve wound up with is 128 sae corrected hp @ the rear wheel from 7800 rpm through to 10.5 k rpm which, given my riding style, I´m incredibly happy with.... However Brets train of thought is that for, perhaps, a small decrease in ultimate hp, he could fatten the mid-range by around 10 to 15 hp retaining but, modifying the original airbox...
My set-up so far is , thus... 36mm Mikuni CV Flatslides (GSX-R 11 L), K&N Pods, 1 per pair of carbs... GSX-R 11 L Inlet & Exhaust cams and a GSX 1100 FJ igniter with a 10.6 or 8k rpm rev limiter...
This setup was good enough to see me doing consistent low 1,10´s around Puke recently...
Carb internal spec´s will remain my secret... !!! Although, I hasten to add that I´ve only lost around 20k´s out of my original "per-tank" fuel range...

Give it some thought... B.R.M are in the phone book...
