My 2002 vrod spat me off and went down on nearside after fitting a new back tyre. Superficial damage sorted but now find that front tie bar has broke out of engine caseing. Harley say its down to the fall, vehicle examiner says its been going for ages and the trauma of fall was last straw. He claims the design asks for this damage if the bike is riden. ( My bike has done over 13k miles two up in 18 months). Anyone else notice any similar probs ?
