nowhere on this wide expanse of internets can i find any chart,discussion,oer guess of how much fork oil goes into my shoawa forks on my fxst 2002. now sure,folks have the wise advice to measure what comes out.well professor,but these ol seals been leakin about a year and of course as it´s messin up my show chrome.i finally decided enoughs enough already.but again if she´s spit half or a quarter out over time.that age old guessing game isn´t gonna be to accurate i would think.i don´t have a manual.most things are described well enough on u tube so i ain´t hadda buy one yet.i´ve seen some say most harley´s end up takin 12 oz´s. so between that gem,and measuring what comes out.maybe the clues will lead to a more accurate guess,than doing nothin at all.i found one chart online claiming to be thee chart for all harleys forks.well.sure if you own every year but mine it seems.it´s mostly newer bikes on the chart i found.well.i guess i´ll post my results later.maybe can give some info as to what mine took to fill em up correctly.adios!
