The 2002 Intruder is my first bike also. Bought it this April and love it. Great bike to learn on, light and maneuverable. Only thing I don´t like is the cam chains (I think) are noisy. You can hear a definite chain sound at various times. Not ovwerly loud but enough to be annoying. My mechanic says this is normal for Suzuki but I´m not so sure. Definitely not the Harley sound!
