I AM THE OWNER OF A LC1500 WITH THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM AFTER REPLACING THE BATTERY IT WOULD DO THE SAME THING AFTER I RODE IT FOR A FEW MILES.AFTER I CALLED MY DEALER AND HE DIDNT HAVE A CLUE,THEN I CALLED SUZUKI CUSTOMER SERVICE AT 714-572-1490 AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD KEEP THE CALL ON RECORD BUT I REALLY DONT THINK THEY WOULD WARRANT ANY PART. I TOLD THEM WHEN THE BIKE DOES THIS SLOW CRANKING THAT I PUT IT IN 2ND GEAR AND ROCK THE BIKE BACK AND FORTH THEN IT CRANKS RIGHT UP LIKE A BRAND NEW ONE. I BELIEVE ITS IN THE STARTER MOTOR THATS WHERE THE PROBLEM PART NO.31100-38B02 THE CHEAPEST NEW PART PRICE IS $230.00 THAT IVE FOUND AT RON AYERS.
