Hi,
You don´t have to worry about this comfortable position during long trips. I have my bike (CB250 Nighthawk 1993) from 3 years and made many long trips - about 2000km (1200 miles) during vacations. There is no problem to make 400 km (250 miles) daily, using second class roads. This is a city motorcycle but you can use it for turistic as well if you want. The only problem is akceleration. You need realy long free space to precede a truck going 90 km/h (55m/h).
