Hi: I just read your posted question and didn´t give you all the info you were looking for in my last reply. At 1000 miles you should be fully run in, at least according to my dealer. The only thing he told me was go easy on it and keep it under 5500 rpm for the first 1000 miles. I think you will be doing about 4500 at 70, right? I don´t think you would hurt it cruising at 70. I think there is also some info in the handbook that came with your bike about breaking in. Have a great trip!! Regards John |
