I had new tire put on the rear was a dunlop 140/70/17 it does very well on wet pavement. It is the size recomended if you read the label on the swing arm of the bike. Mine came with a 140/80/17 I liked the old tire size better because it droped the RPM;s at 55 mph. I think it was about 3500rpms now with the new tire it almost 4000rpm. I was told that Bridgestone brand was the orignal tire that came on these bikes.
