I don´t know what is wrong with your 750 Nighthawks! I am a fat, bald dude and I had my 92 Nighthawk maxed out at 128. I live in Oregon and was on a straight, flat road. Flew by two State-boys but I quess the coffee and donuts were fresh...they ignored me. I loved my Nighty, but was just a bit too vanilla. I´ve been trying to replace it with one I like as well...but so far it is still a great all around bike.
