ok, I´ve been reading all these comments about how guys are going between 120 and 130 on their nighthawks and how they´re 45-55 mpg. Can someone tell me what´s wrong with my 92 please?! At 95mph she´s pretty much topped out and redlining and yes it´s in fith gear. And I´m lucky to get 110 miles on a tank (without switching to reserve) I´m gonna take it in to get the carbs worked on and hopefully that will solve gas mileage prob. but that doesn´t explain top end shortage. I´ve never changed sprockets and I doubt previous owners did.

please tell me what you think. If I could get my nighthawk to perform like you guys are talking about yours I´d love it. it´d be like owning a completely different bike!!
