Resources for locating someone to lower ´97 750 Nighthawk

Looking for assistance, both technical and parts advise in lowering my ´97 Nighthawk.
Checked online and found both a front and rear lowering kit from Scootworks which would cost approximately &400. Seems logical to lower both front and rear to maintain proper suspension configuration. I live in New England and want to have this set up now for spring.
