Hello! You can take the seat off by unscrewing the two bolts under the seat, located about on the middle, one one each side. Slide the seat backwards, should come off easily. I´ve never needed to change the battery before, but I think that you access that from behind the side covers, and not under the seat (like on the VT125). I know the rear shock is accessed from behind the left side cover. Just pull it off with your fingers at the bottom and take it off. There is a small bag of tools in there to help you fix everything! good luck. You can get a service manual at www.haynes.com |
