Billy, I have a 99 Aero that had the same problem and it turned out to be a clogged air cleaner, check your filter and all intake tubes to make sure there are no obstructions. If the bike sat for a while without fuel stabilizer it could be a gummed up carb. Remember the big three that make a bike run and start your investigation. Air , fuel and spark are the culprits. If you want to try a cheap way first you might give a good carb cleaner a try ( like seafoam ) and with luck it could clear up. Taking out a spark plug can also give you a good idea of what´s going on. The condition of the electrode is a good indicator of what the problem might be. Good luck. |
