Handlebar Issue

I can use some help as I am at a point of frustration. Wanted to install radius bars on my 98 c3. All the catalogs show a direct replacement but show 100mm center of riser to riser which is about 4 inches. After returning the bars I thought maybe my bike would fit the vtx bars but they are listed at 130mm which is about 5+ inches. My center to center is about 4 3/4. Did I get a misfit triple tree. I just can´t figure out why all these parts warehouses are giving 100mm as the spacing. Has anyone run into this issue or change their bars to drag bars? Any guidance is appreciated.
