Have it run on a Dyno and get a plot of the HP and Torque curves. Its commonly known that the intake/exhaust valve system has a dip at around 3000 RPM. I have a 2 BRO Ti exhaust tip and power commander and the HP curve is a nice linear slop ( no dips ) and the Torque curve is very flat AFTER 3000 RPM. So even with the extras the 954 isnt very smooth under 3000 RPM. The Stock ECM does have extra memory and room for addition FI maps so take it to the dealer and get them to run it for FREE under warrantee if possible. Tell them you want a print out of the stats and good luck! That other jerk off that RE to your post doesnt know SHIT. I have been riding on the street for 15 years and have had close to 15 different sport bikes and the BUSA will KILL my CBR in a straight line.......torque determines acceleration NOT peak HP. |
