My son bought a 2002 Yamaha YZ250F. On 06/08/2003 he had exactly 1 yr. On 06/29/2003 while cleaning it he discovered the frame was completely broke into. It was taken to a Yamaha certified mechanic who said it was a factory defect due to it broke at the weld. Yamaha´s answer to that is we offer no financial assistance. Don´t you think a 6,000 dollar bike they should offer assistance since it was their fault? I´m lucky he was´nt killed.
