O.k. new update about front wheel bearings and torque specs, apparently 52ft lbs is correct, what was happening was the front wheel bearing inside sleeve was missing from the bike, he always said the bike seemed to roll on turns and this also clarifies why the shaft bolt was so loose upon disassembly, ordered a new sleeve and bearings, again, now torqued to 52 ft lbs and wheel works well, now just have to order a new fender that was melted from adjustment attempt rec by someone on line. funny, all the used fenders on line are broken and melted as well, so donĀ“t try that! the fender should clear even with the larger tire, the noise we were hearing was from the bearing not the fender! lesson learned, sorry for the one bit of missinformation!!
