Clutch fluid color

Clutch fluid color

I just purchased a 2000 Monster Dark ie 900. The clutch fluid was very dark in color even thought he bike has only 3500 miles on it. I changed the fluid and aobut 200 miles later the fluid is dark in color again. Is there something wrong or is this normal?

Help greatly appreciated. Please send answer via e mial if possible. thanks Paul
