Hi, Just aquired a Vigor 650, after spending months teasing a friend that it looked so silly and small, he eventually got it out of hibernation, started it up and let me take it for a ride. *grin*. I´ve had a few bikes, my last being a BMW K75, which was fantastic for everything except enjoying yourself on, the Vigor is a revelation. Ok maybe i´m getting a bit OTT, but i can´t see why this bike didn´t catch on in the UK, they´re cheap as chips, so simple you can fix them with a bent screwdriver and huge grin factor. Doing some research to try and release a few more ponies from the stable, am i right in assuming the engine in the Vigor is a direct descedant of the Dominator? Does anyone know how to reinstate Dominator power values? Trailing through the archives, the NX650 (same engine) had 47BHP in 1990, so why now in 2009 have i got 37? Any help greatly appreciated. |
