Hey Biker, I bought a 2001 w/ 7,700 garage kept. Made excellent deal. It has Vance/Hines Pipes w/ stage 1 Kit. This dude will scat! Anyway this bike gets 45-50mpg on highway @ 70mph no joke. Something has to be wrong on your bike. My dad had the same bike stock and he got the the same mileage I did. Something is out of sinc! Air Filer? Carbs? Plugs? The only thing I don´t like is the small tank. Wish it was bigger. Hopefully I´ll be upgrading shortly. Doing my first poker run tomorrow for St. Jude. Oh! My brother has a 1800VTX and I can give him a run for his money!!
