Hi, kenb my name is Keith. I have the same bike. The treck to starting them after sitting for a while is to be paitent. They have a vacum petrol cock and takes some time to fill up the carbs. YOU DO NOT WANT TO BURN OUT THE STARTER. So what I do is put the choke on full don´t touch the throtle and press the starter for about 20 seconds then leave it for about a minute to cool down the another 20 seconds. Just keep doing this and the motor will fire maybe 1 then 2 tnem away she goes. Can take some time, just walk away and come back and strat again. When she goes you will anjoy the magig of the CBX prolink and all other CBX´s. Hope this is helpfull. Where do you live I live in Melbourne Australia. Let me know how you got on. Regards Keith
