You may get them to work but I suspect if they arn´t exactly the same you may end up with more work than it´s worth.

Getting the fuel mixture correct would be the hard part, if you pass in to much you will end up fouling the plugs, blowing a piston or rings, or loosing a ton of power.

As far as the pistons are concerned I hightly doubt it the 900´s will work.
