I have been chasing down a non-charging issue. Replaced the battery, regulator, and finally the rotor (I know you should replace all parts at the same time, but this was before I was aware of that issue). Anyway, the rotor seems to have done it - above 3000 RPM there is lots of voltage going to the battery. However, when the charging system kicks in, the Red/White wire from the regulator to the connector on the starter solenoid/main fuse gets REALLY hot. I took the connector apart, cleaned all the connections, and it´s still getting really hot. Suggestions?
