Throttle is tight...

Hey all,

I just recently got a CM400 Custom. I was wondering if I may throw out a question regarding the throttle. My friend has an 82 Kawasaki 440 LTD... his throttle is like butter... mine is very tight compared to his... It make my hand ache... I have done some research on this... and it appears that it may be because Honda´s have the push pull 2 cable throttle setup... I have also read that some people have removed the return cable and replaced the spring on the carb to ease the throttle tension... Anybody done this or have any suggestions for me...

My throttle works fine and snaps back on its own... but its killin my hand and arm...

Help =)
