It´ll usually say it on the side, but the A is the Hondamatic (which you´ll know for sure if you ride it). The C is pretty rare, with the C standing for Custom, with the fancy pleated seats. The E is the economy version, becasue it has no tachometer. The T stands for touring- although it´s widely just considered the Tachometer model, because it´s tachometer.
